2024-2025 Welcome Letter
Dear Clintondale Students and Parents:
On behalf of the staff at Clintondale Middle School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2024–2025 school year! We look forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our students can achieve their highest potential. We strive for the academic success, as well as the overall social and emotional development and wellbeing, of all our students.
As the principal of Clintondale Middle School (CMS), I look forward to working with you and your student(s) throughout the year. Here at CMS, we recognize that in order to be successful in school, our students need support from both the home and school. Our goal is to create an educational community between staff and families and to build strong partnerships that will allow us to make a positive impact in each student's education.
As partners, we share the responsibility of your child’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
- Attends school daily, arrives on time and is prepared to learn
- Completes all assignments
- Reads daily to develop a love for reading and improve literacy skills
- Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life
- Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject
- Is aware of your expectations for his/her success in school and life in general
We also appreciate support at home in reinforcing school and classroom expectations for general conduct and standards of behavior.
Students will have the opportunity to pick up their schedules at orientation. Otherwise, all students will receive their schedules on the first day of school.
