All families must register for school bus transportation for the 2026-27 school year using the link below. This process is required every year, as routes, stops, and contact information may change. Even if you used transportation last year, you must register again to be placed on a route. You can also update your registration at any time if your information changes.

Clintondale Community Schools provides in-district bus transportation and limited out of district transportation. These routes may be updated and re-routed as necessary.

Late arrival dates for 2026: Sept. 16 & 30, Oct 14 & Oct. 28, Nov. 11, Dec. 9
Late arrival dates for 2027: Jan. 13 Feb. 24, March 10, May 12: & 26
Bus Information
🚍 When to Stop for a School Bus
Clintondale buses use RED LIGHT STOPS. Know what to do:
🔴 Lights on TOP = STOP

Amber lights on top = Prepare to stop

Red lights on top & stop sign out = STOP (from both directions, at least 20 feet away)

Do NOT proceed until red lights turn off
🟡 Lights down LOW = SLOW

Hazard lights = No crossing

Proceed with caution
💡 Quick Tip:
A school bus is a moving traffic signal.
"Lights on TOP, be prepared to STOP. Lights down LOW, proceed but SLOW."

Student Carry-On Items
The primary purpose of the school bus is to provide safe transportation of students to and from school and school-related activities. Home projects, musical instruments or other items that would block the aisle or vision of the driver, or create a hazard, is prohibited.
Students are encouraged to participate in the music program and may bring flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trombones, etc., with them on the school bus. Any musical instrument larger than a trombone or too large to fit on the laps of students is prohibited.
Book bags, backpacks, school projects, etc., are limited to those items which can be carried on the laps of individual passengers.
When transporting students to and from field trip activities, items may be placed in empty seats but may not exceed the height of the seat back, or width of the seat. No object may be placed in the bus aisles at any time.
For the safety and welfare of students and staff domestic animals/pets are not allowed on the bus.
Reminders
- Please be at the bus stop five minutes BEFORE your stop time. Buses can run five minutes before or after their time due to traffic and weather.
- The buses are extensions of the school. All rules must be followed for the safety of all passengers.
- Video cameras are installed to monitor all activities.
- Improper conduct will result in disciplinary action, including loss of bus privileges.
- For safety, please have a parent or guardian at the bus stop to receive children.
